Has It Been Safe Enough to Feel Yet?

In all of your awareness of your pain, has it been safe enough to deeply feel it, yet? To drop into the heart of the part that holds it as the biggest truth about them? To allow feeling to lead instead of spiritual or psychological theory, insight, or context?
Parts of you still live in those memories of trauma, of the darkest times you've known. They still breathe that same air, feel those same feelings, and hold those same truths about themselves and the world.
They still live in the room where it happened.
They still carry the terror, grief, shame, loneliness, helplessness, or confusion that overwhelmed them then. They may even still believe what they believed then.
The only difference is that now, their story has perhaps been shared. Their pain has been talked about, understood, analyzed, witnessed, and even healed in certain ways, yet not fully digested, especially with them personally.
Because there is a difference between understanding a wound and meeting the part that has carried it all this time.
There is a difference between being aware of your pain and allowing yourself to feel it. Deeply. Without needing to mentally understand it just yet.
The deeper digestion needs the right timing, the right energies, and the right setting. It needs the space to simply BE. To be validated. To be felt. To be witnessed without being fixed, rushed, transcended, or turned into a lesson.
A deeper healing often cannot happen because we decide it should. It ripens when enough safety, support, capacity, and willingness have come online within us.
The wound can often be a reality other parts of you have buried for the sake of showing up for others, for work, for family, and even for your spirituality.
Many of us have spent years developing awareness, expanding consciousness, understanding our patterns, and seeking higher perspectives. All of this can lead to beautiful openings and healing…
But what if awareness is only one part of the healing?
What if it was simply preparing you for the moment you could finally feel?
The trauma your parts, and perhaps even your soul, have experienced isn't meant to bring you backwards, but rather inwards.
Into a deeper intimacy with yourself.
Into a more embodied love.
Into a healing that no longer lives only in awareness, but in your felt experience.
Instead of turning away from your humanity, you’re moving deeper into it.
Maybe all of your journeys, all of your seeking, all of your awakening, have led you back here.
Back to the part of you who has carried so much for so long.
The part who has been waiting in the shadows, sometimes quietly and sometimes not, for enough space to finally be felt within their story.
Perhaps there is more capacity now to meet them there, care for them there, and love them as they are, without an agenda and without forcing them to be more healed than they’re ready to be.
Perhaps now you’re able to meet them with more capacity and compassion than ever before.
And perhaps the next phase of your awakening isn't necessarily about reaching higher states of consciousness, but about becoming more intimate with what is within you.
One courageous step inward at a time.
One tender part of you at a time.
Love,
Kasha ❤️
