A Message to Protectors Within

Dearest protectors,

Thank you for your fierce loyalty and your devotion to keeping the most precious parts of us safe.

Thank you for the care you bring in maintaining the field each of our unique souls has created.

Thank you for loving so deeply that you have tried to ensure nothing could ever harm our tender hearts.

And yet, it feels like time to let something go.

To soften the belief that lowering your walls means losing something.

That allowing these precious parts to truly experience the world will destroy them.

That your only role is to offer safety and security.

You are so much more than that.

When you soften into your heart and allow in the strength and bigness of the very parts you protect, something new becomes possible.

You become the presence that allows the feminine to bloom, rather than remain hidden.

You begin to receive as much love as you give.

You discover that collaboration unfolds when you trust your own heart.

That fears can be met even when you are not on guard.

That you can rest… and still be held.

Imagine what you get to be and experience on the other side of this.

You get to be a lover, a king, a brother.

You get to be seen in all the facets of your being, not only in your ability to protect.

You get to be known, and deeply loved in that knowing.

So I invite you, dear protectors,

to set down your swords,

to release your shields,

and to feel whatever arises in their absence.

For I am here.

I have always been here.
