Many of us have become familiar with the concept of the Inner Child through emotional healing and spiritual awakening. We may recognize the younger parts of ourselves who carry abandonment wounds, unmet needs, fears, and longings from childhood. Yet there is another part of us who is often overlooked, even as they continue to influence our relationships, choices, emotional responses and reactivity, and sense of identity. This is our Inner Teenager.
