To speak of being free to be She, we must first acknowledge the places where She has not felt free at all. The feminine carries wounds as old as time itself. Wounds that live not only in our personal stories but in our ancestral lines, our soul histories, and the collective feminine field.
These are not abstract concepts but living imprints in our bodies, our emotions, our relationships, our voices, our wombs, and even in our cells. They surface in the moments we shrink instead of shine, when our truth catches in our throat, when our love feels unsafe to offer, or when we fear rejection simply for being who we are.
These traumas are etched not only into our childhoods, but across lifetimes and timelines of suppression. They are shaped by wounds of separation from the Divine, abandonment, persecution, sisterhood and masculine betrayal, abuse of body or spirit, enslavement to systems of control, martyrdom, or the confusion of being both victim and perpetrator.
These patterns live in us as defenses, as illnesses in the body, as emotional suffering, as forgetfulness of our true essence. They live in us in the hijack of our DNA, cells, and chakras and the ongoing inversion of the 3D/4D Matrix that dominates so much of humanity’s conscious and subconscious experiences.
And yet, these wounds are paradoxically also the very doorways of reunion with our original essence. They are invitations into profound healing and reconciliation, if we are willing to feel them, to witness the parts of us that carry them, and to remember that this lifetime offers us a chance at true resolution and completion of them.
I call these the ‘Sacred Wounds of the Feminine’ because even in their pain, they hold within them the seeds of our awakening. To feel them, to name them, to honor them, is to open the very doorway to our healing.
As you read, allow yourself to notice where they live in your own life, and also how they may echo in your ancestral line, your soul aspects, and the collective feminine field. Each wound is also a doorway, waiting to be entered with love.
Some of these wounds include:
The Wound of Silence - where our voices were suppressed, mocked, or punished, leaving us unsure if speaking our truth will bring love or loss.
The Wound of Separation - where we were torn from the Divine Mother and Divine Father, from our soul family, from our lovers, from our own essence, creating a longing ache for reunion.
The Wound of Shame - where our bodies, our sexuality, our sensitivity, our gifts, were made to feel ‘too much’ or ‘not enough.’
The Wound of Persecution - where lifetimes of being hunted, burned, shamed, or exiled for our wisdom live on in cellular memory.
The Wound of Rejection - where we felt pushed away, judged, dismissed and invalidated by critical parts of us and masculines/beloveds we had come to love and trust.
The Wound of Abandonment - where we felt left behind, unloved, unseen, even by those meant to protect and cherish us.
Each wound has its own texture and story, and yet all are invitations into deeper love when held with tenderness.
You may already recognize some of these within yourself, as though they echo across time whenever you hesitate, doubt, or hold back your essence. These wounds are not here to punish you…they are here to be felt, witnessed, and healed through love.
For just as each wound arose in relationship, they can only truly dissolve in relationship…with ourselves, with others, and with the Divine.
This is why I call them sacred. The wounds of the feminine are not random misfortunes. They are thresholds that open when we are willing to feel them, hold them, and love the parts of us who carry them. They are not flaws to overcome or fix, but portals to our wholeness. Divine Mother is available to be with us in the accessing, feeling and healing of them all.
Love,
Jelelle
This is an excerpt from Chapter Two of Free To Be She: Sacred Feminine Wounds, Gifts & Integration, my sixth book about awakening, spirituality, parts work, sacred union, and quantum soul reconciliation. I have been sharing a daily passage from each chapter of this book as we move together toward its release on January 1, 2026…when it will be available to purchase in E-book, PDF, and print editions (and eventually an audiobook version in my voice).
This book is more like a transmission than conceptual or intellectual, more like a love letter from and with Divine Mother to all women and the men who love them. Long in the gestation, inspiration, and now..finally…the birthing and offering phases. More info to purchase this book when it is available here
