Being the Voice of Compassion for Parts of You

To a part of you, life may feel like it is coming at you on all sides.
Relentless.
Ongoing.
Without rest.
The daily grind and churn of responsibility and information. You may feel like a saturated sponge unable to hold it all.
All the reactions.
All the emotions.
All the responding.
You may wonder when it will all find peace, stability, and ease.
There is a moment when it all becomes too much and you need to just BE.
Be with the reactions.
Be with the emotions.
Responding to your inner world before the outer feels like it will take you down.
This part of you that has held it all needs rest.
Needs to be heard, felt, and loved.
Needs time to catch up, to be filled up, to unravel if needed.
No medication, distraction, or outer object can relieve the compression on the inside. It is a self-to-self, inside job.
This part of you that has been working so hard at navigating, pretending, grinding, and scanning is at the precipice of collapse.
And it needs a You to fall into.
A You to lean into.
A You to feel held by when it all gets to be too much.
This happens when you give space and a voice to the inner churning. Pretend as if it were someone outside of you.
You become the voice and energy of care, of curiosity, and compassion. You become the one this part of you has been needing and looking for all along.
The Stability
The Peace
The Ease
The Love
It doesn’t happen overnight. It is an ongoing ebb and flow of feeling and confusion.
Of clarity and fogginess
Of release and constriction.
In time, the space between your Higher Heart/Divine Self and your struggling parts widen, and you begin to sense them more often and more clearly, being able to hold and be with them in more real time where life seems to gift all the necessary circumstances to allow for you to show up to the feeling and the healing.
This is where you start to lighten and brighten.
Where you start to see, relate, and respond to the world outside of you much differently.
Where you start to make more self-loving choices, even as challenging as they might have to be.
Where you start to draw the people and circumstances that support and align with this more authentic and clear version of who you always wanted or thought you could be.
It just takes one moment in time to stop, to breathe, to write to, to speak to, and to feel the part of you that has been needing you all along.
